Interdonato, one of the oldest lemon varieties, is most widely grown in the Eastern Mediterranean region of Turkey. Türkiye is the world's largest producer of Interdonato lemons. Its fruit is large and has an elongated cylindrical shape. The most characteristic feature of the fruit is that the tip is tilted to one side. The bark is smooth, uniformly shaped, light green and shiny. Its greenish yellow flesh contains few seeds. Since it is an early variety, it is not suitable for storage.
